Why I Write

I write because I am afraid I'll be forgotten.  I write because I was never heard. 

I write because I want to change the world.  I write because the pen is mightier than the sword. 

I write because my memory is bad.  I write because it helps release the pain of the past. 

I write because I want to create my future.  I write because my head is so full of dreams. 

I write because I love how paper accepts pen with open arms.  I write because it makes me feel free. 

I write because it soothes my soul.  I write for connection and meaning. 

I write to live.
